BALMORAL BEACH

Balmoral Beach.jpg

A sophisticated but relaxed seaside setting, the beautiful Balmoral Beach has a multitude of ceremony spots for you to choose from. The beach as a whole offers a more sophisticated relaxed vibe, with a paved path running the boundary between reserve and sand. It’s a stunning option to consider year-round, however keep in mind that it’s a popular spot for picnic and beach go-ers alike, so may not be the location for you if you want something a little more private. It can also get a little chilly by the water in the winter months, so consider a lunchtime or early afternoon wedding to utilise the daylight and warmth of the sun.

There’s a white rotunda in the reserve that lends itself to a good backdrop or photo location, but our favourite spot is in the park towards the southern end of the beach, as it’s a little quieter and makes for spectacular photos. Note that rose petals and amplified music is not permitted – but acoustic music is fine. Alcohol is permitted, so a drinks station would accompany your seaside nuptials perfectly.

It’s an easy walk to both Public Dining Room and Bathers Pavilion, so is a wonderful option if you want to contain your guests to one location. Parking is timed and can be a little tricky however, so be sure to warn your guests.
