BLACKBURN GARDENS, DOUBLE BAY

Amongst the trees in Double Bay nestles the serene Blackburn Gardens. A perfect ceremony location any time of year, the gardens are always lush, green, and overflowing with foliage and beautiful blooms depending on the season. It presents as a very sophisticated setting, with a beautifully manicured lawn area that overlooks the harbour and is very quiet and tranquil.

Access for this area is down a fairly windy walkway, so keep in mind your elderly or less mobile guests. The overhead trees provide amazing shade, so it won’t be too hot in summer. Alcohol is also permitted so your guests can mingle amongst the greenery and enjoy the view! There are also bathrooms in the garden.

Some gorgeous reception venues are only a short drive away, including Regatta, Catalina and Empire Lounge. Photos will look glorious in this setting as you get the best of both worlds, the green of the garden and the fresh view of the harbour.
