BOWER STREET RESERVE, MANLY

A quieter alternative to Shelly Beach below, Bower Street Reserve is for those couples who are looking for a lush green backdrop for their nuptials, but don’t want to venture too far from the salty ocean air. The giant fig tree sits perfectly in the background as the main feature and you’d be surprised how many guests you can fit under its branches. An arch works beautifully too as the grass area is quite open.

It’s perfect year round, your guests can find shade amongst the trees and alcohol is also permitted. Toilets are a five minute walk back down to Shelly Beach, however it is a steep and challenging walk back up! Many residents live along the street so limit any loud music.

Boathouse Shelly Beach is quick 5 minute walk for a wonderful and close by reception space, and the rest of Manly and its venues is not too much further.
