BRADLEYS HEAD AMPHITHEATRE, MOSMAN

DSC_1933.jpg

Located near Mosman on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, Bradleys Head Amphitheatre is a stunning lookout located in Sydney Harbour National Park. With its tiered sandstone seating, natural bush surrounds and the water of Sydney Harbour so close you can feel it, this spot is like no other in Sydney.

You do need to be careful of the tides in rough weather, as the water can splash up onto the sandstone area along the water – and no one likes a wet wedding dress!

A cascading sandstone staircase runs along the side of the amphitheatre, creating a spectacular bridal party entrance. However, the access is quite tricky for less mobile guests, or those brides who are nervous about stairs.

As the area is quite exposed it can also get a little windy, and there are many visitors to the area each day. However, the spot doesn’t lend itself to the public visitors setting up picnic for the day, and generally do not get in the way of a ceremony.

There are toilets on site, and you are allowed to have a bar.

There are also a couple of great reception locations nearby, as well as a number of amazing locations for photos!
