OBSERVATORY HILL PARK, SYDNEY CITY

If you’re looking for an outdoor ceremony location that is amongst nature, but at the city doorstep, then Observatory Hill Park is a great option for you. Next to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and perched high above the city, this classic ceremony location is great for all sizes.

Many couples choose the Rotunda for their ceremony, which has a spectacular view and is best for smaller numbers. There are also some stairs, so something to think about if you have less mobile guest. The Rotunda is also perfect as a wet weather spot.

If you are looking for a more garden feel, then our favourite spot it under the large tree.

When you reserve the park, you also have access to close by toilets and you are allowed to have a bar. And when you are done, you are close by to many city side reception venues, or only a short drive back to the north side of the bridge. A bonus of having your ceremony in the city – your guests can easily get transport directly to the location, with ferries, buses, and taxi spots close by.
